The apartment is located next to the Plaza Universitat, in the heart of Barcelona’s “Eixample”, a neighbourhood famous for its wide and regular streets and modernist architecture, created in the mid-nineteenth century as a fruit of the city’s expansion after the demolition of the medieval city walls. Nowadays it is a lively residential and commercial area, always safe and very well communicated with the rest of the city.
